चन्द्रचन्दनयोर्मध्ये शीतला साधुसङ्गतिः॥
candanaṃ śītalaṃ loke candanādapi candramāḥ।
candracandanayormadhye śītalā sādhusaṅgatiḥ॥
In the world, sandalwood is known for it’s coolness. But the Moon is considered cooler than sandalwood. The company of pious people is cooler than both sandalwood and the Moon.
संसार में चंदन शीतल माना जाता है। परंतु चंद्र चंदन से शीतल होता है। संतों की संगत (पवित्र विचारधारा वाले लोगों की संगत), चंदन और चंद्र दोनों से अधिक शीतल होती है।
