Ancient Indian Astrology, also referred to as Vedic Astrology or ज्योतिषशास्त्रम् (Jyotiṣaśāstram) is one of the most ancient studies of the movements and positions of planets relative to each other and how they affect us humans here on Earth.
Some basic elements of Vedic Astrology are Rashis, Nakshatras and Grahas. Following are short explanations about each category and a list of items within the category.
Rashis - राशयः
Rashis can also be called as Zodiac Signs, which are assigned to a person based on the time of their birth. Following are the Rashis in Vedic Astrology:
